Finding a solution for a young adult with learning difficulties in need of daily rebound therapy
Posted by Olof Göransson on
An Occupational Therapist contacted us on behalf of a young adult with significant learning difficulties in her care. For individuals in permanent residential settings, our high-quality domestic Capital In-ground Trampoline can often provide a practical and accessible solution.
The proposal
Initially, the OT believed a commercial-grade in-ground trampoline would be required to support her client’s daily rebound therapy. However, she was concerned about affordability. Passionate about the therapeutic benefits, she asked us to collaborate with her in finding a cost-effective alternative that wouldn’t compromise on quality or suitability.
The installation
Our experienced team regularly works with clients who have unique requirements, including noise sensitivity and strict scheduling needs. In this case, our install manager and head installer coordinated closely with the OT to plan the excavation and installation in a way that would not disrupt the client’s day. The process was carefully executed—and met with delight from all involved.
The end result
The young adult now has access to a safe, reliable, and purpose-built trampoline, available 24/7 for both structured therapy and spontaneous use. Whether to burn off excess energy, refocus, or simply find calm, the trampoline offers a vital support tool—right in their own home. For both the OT and her client, it has become an invaluable part of daily life.
